Rend, repent

Turn back to The Lord is the call and look unto him. He will lift you up and forgive your transgressions. For he is a great compassionate god and is willing to forgive. He will bless a repentant heart and build a broken nest. For he is our lord and where else shall we go. 

Joel 2:13 Rend your hearts and not your garments and return to the Lord, your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in loving-kindness; and He revokes His sentence of evil [when His conditions are met].

May you today rend your heart and wake up to The Lord and seek his countenance for rest all is darkness. 

Family

How do you bring your family together?

Many times in our lives we tend to move away from our family. Several people complain that they have not been able to bring their family together. Many kids and teenagers move away from the discipline and love of the family. Many men and women break away from what they loved and plan to live separately. There is an utter lack of harmony, love and friendship in the family. 

The Bible verse in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 says... Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

This is not human love. It is difficult to continue loving the same person all the time. Especially someone who lives with you. This is the love of The Lord. Christ like love builds, endures, forgives and understands. 

If you grow closer to The Lord and ensure your family spends time with The Lord, you will be stronger and more closer to each other. Today promise yourself that you will spend more time together with The Lord. 

A new thing

The Lord is doing a new thing for you today.

As promised in Isaiah 43:19 New International Version (NIV):  See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Own this promise and claim it in the name of the Lord and seek for deliverance. There is victory in the name of Christ.

Show thy face

Don't be a loner

Don't be a loner. You need the fellowship of God's children. "A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. A threefold cord is not quickly broken" (Eccl 4:9-12). Meet with a couple of believers regularly at home or workspot for Bible meditation and prayer. You will be encouraged and strengthened in your walk with God.

Everytime you overcome temptation the battle will only be intensified. But "He who is in you is greater than He who is in the world" (1 Jn 4:4). Take refuge under the blood of Jesus. Depend on His grace. "Sin shall not have dominion over you!" (Rom 6:14).

The Lord never forgets you

How easy it is to forget to pray and spend time with God? 

For the past few days I was busy with work and was busy being busy. I missed being with The Lord. Today my little daughter slipped in my arms when she work up and tumbled to the floor. I was holding her in my hand and yet she tumbled to the floor and got hurt. The Lord was gracious and she wasn't hurt a lot. How can I say thanks to The Lord who watches over us all the time even when we forget him and ignore him. What can we repay him with? It is only with praise and thanks. 

Thank you Lor for you are ever loving and pardoning. I love you.
